This project was realized by Jeff and Kim Davis, Seabrook Island residents. (It was Kim's idea from the start!) If you are a Captain Sam's regular, you will quickly realize that this book is very loosely modeled after Kai and KoKo. Our hope is that by continuing to educate our local and visiting kids (and their parents) about these amazing dolphins, we can continue to increase awareness and help protect these amazing animals and their fascinating and exciting feeding behavior. The amazing illustrations were created by our childhood friend Greg Bryla, and we couldn't be happier with the way they came out, so we decided to also offer some illustrated merchandise. We hope to raise a helpful amount of money to support the work of the Lowcountry Marine Mammal Network.
